Pianist, Melody Fader enjoys a busy career as a soloist, chamber musician, vocal accompanist, and freelance artist in New York City. Miss Fader has performed around the United States as a soloist and chamber musician, and in such New York venues as Alice Tully Hall, and Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall. Her musical studies have led her to performances internationally in Italy, Belgium, England, Spain, Canada, Korea and Israel. She has participated and performed at the Spoleto Festival in Italy, Aspen Music Festival, Chautauqua, International Festival Institute at Round Top and the Scotia Festival of Music. Recently, Miss Fader has been a prize winner at the Coleman Chamber Ensemble competition, and the Aspen Concerto competition.

In the spring on 2004, Miss Fader earned on her MM in Collaborative piano at the Juilliard School, were she studied with Margo Garrett. She has been selected to perform numerous times in Alice Tully Hall’s “Wednesdays at 1”, and “Evening of Chamber Music” series, as well as the Juilliard Vocal Honors recital (April 2002). In April, 2003, Miss Fader performed at the International Musician’s Seminar in Prussia Cove, England. Before working on her MM, Miss Fader was a resident artist at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada. While earning her BM in piano performance from the Eastman School of Music, Miss Fader performed concertos with student orchestras, played solo recitals, and performed numerous times on Buffalo Public Radio’s “Opus Classics Live” broadcast series.


Miss Fader is a resident musician with the New Chamber Ballet, which performs regularly at New York's City Center Studio 4. She has also collaborated with the Dankmeyer Dance Company, performing at St. Mark’s Church and has created new interdisciplinary works with cellist/composer/dancer Malina Rauschenfels and dancer/choreaographer, Luke Wiley . Other recent performances include chamber music concerts presented by the Chopin Foundation in Florida, and at the Suzuki Association of Georgia. Last summer, Miss Fader was on the faculty of Bowdoin International Music Festival in Brunswick, Maine, as a staff pianist, and this summer she was on the faculty at Perry-Mansfield performing arts school and camp in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
